01Which AI assistants does it measure?
ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are where most buyers ask. Check which ones the plan you can afford really includes.
02Does it ask in your buyers' languages and markets?
If your buyers ask in Arabic or Turkish, the tool must ask in Arabic or Turkish, from their country, and read the answer in that language.
03Does it separate questions with and without your name?
Being known and being recommended are different numbers. A tool that mixes them makes you look better than you are.
04Does it show the sources AI relies on?
Page by page: which sites AI cites when it names a rival and not you. That is your list of places to be.
05Does it catch wrong facts?
A wrong price or an outdated product in an AI answer costs sales. Ask whether the tool checks what AI says against your own facts.
06Does it help you fix, or only report?
Most tools stop at the dashboard. Ask who writes the content for a lost question, and how it gets on your site.
07Can it prove a change worked?
AI answers move on their own. A tool should compare the questions you fixed with questions you did not touch, or a rise may be noise.
08Are prices on its website?
Public prices let you budget before a sales call. Check what the entry plan really includes: assistants, questions, brands.
09Can you take your data out?
Exports, an API or a connection to your BI tool, so the numbers live where your team already works.
10Who does the work?
Measurement is the easy part. Ask how much of the fixing your team will do, and what the tool does for you.
