AI Visibility

AI Visibility is how often answer engines name your brand when someone asks a customer question. It is not the same measurement as website readiness.

Last updated 7 October 2026

What you'll do

  1. Read visibility and share of voice for the questions you track.
  2. Filter by provider, market and intent.
  3. Separate a brand mention from a citation.

AI Visibility is not website readiness

Website readiness looks at whether your own pages are structured so a crawler or assistant can read them. AI Visibility looks at what an answer engine says when it is asked a customer question.

A ready page can still be absent from answers. A page that is named can still be wrong or uncited.

Questions, intent, provider and sample

A tracked question is a customer question Basiro asks again, such as a category or comparison question. Intent keeps a pricing question apart from a reputation question.

A provider is one answer engine in the current set: OpenAI / ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or Perplexity. A sample is one real run of a question on that provider. A priority question is one you chose to check more often than the weekly full measurement.

Share of voice, filters and trends

Share of voice compares how often your brand appears with the competitors found in the same answers. Filters narrow that view by provider, market or intent. Trends show whether the share moves across later measurements.

Being named is recorded. It is not treated as a citation or as a win.

What the result means

You know where the brand is named, on which questions, and against whom. You do not yet know whether the intended URL was cited.

Important distinctions

  • Current measurement providers are ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. This is a measurement capability, not a partnership.
  • The public website is also in French. That does not mean the signed-in application is fully French.
