Catalog and site assistant

The catalog and the site assistant are optional. They are not required to measure AI answers, and they are not the Verified Knowledge Hub.

  1. Open Your site → Product catalog when product information and product readiness matter.
  2. Review the product records. They do not approve a Knowledge Hub fact and they do not decide Answer Accuracy.

Site assistant

Your siteSite assistant

The site assistant answers a visitor's question using the brand's own knowledge. That retrieval flow is related to Verified Knowledge, but it is a different workflow. Notes the assistant keeps are not approved facts. Open Your site → Site assistant only when a visitor should get an on-site answer.

Sidebar → Ask is for the signed-in user. Your site → Site assistant is the visitor surface. Keep both apart from Knowledge → Facts.

What this does not prove

  • Catalog readiness is not AI Visibility and not Answer Accuracy.
  • An assistant answer is not an approved Knowledge Hub fact.
  • Measuring AI answers does not require the catalog or the assistant.
